After death five things of man go with man - मृत्यु के पश्चात मनुष्य के साथ मनुष्य की पाँच वस्तुएँ साथ जाती हैं।

 

मृत्यु के पश्चात मनुष्य के साथ मनुष्य की पाँच वस्तुएँ साथ जाती हैं।

1. कामना-यदि मृत्य के समय हमारे मन मे किसी वस्तु विशेष के प्रति कोई आसक्ति शेष रह जाती है,कोई इक्षा अधूरी रह जाती है,कोई अपूर्ण कामना रह जाती है तो मरणोपरांत भी वही कामना उस जीवात्मा के साथ जाती है। 

2. वासना- वासना कामना की ही साथी है। वासना का अर्थ केवल शारिरिक भोग से नही अपितु इस संसार मे भोगे हुए हर उस सुख से है जो उस जीवात्मा को आनन्दित करता है। फिर वो घर हो ,पैसा हो ,गाड़ी हो, रूतबा हो,या शौर्य। मृत्यु के बाद भी ये अधूरी वासनाएं मनुष्य के साथ ही जाती हैं और मोक्ष प्राप्ति में बाधक होती है। 

3.कर्म- मृत्यु के बाद हमारे द्वारा किये गए कर्म चाहे वो सुकर्म हो अथवा कुकर्म हमारे साथ ही जाता है। मरणोपरांत जीवात्मा अपने  द्वारा कि ये गए कर्मो की पूँजी भी साथ ले जाता है। जिस के हिसाब किताब द्वारा उस जीवात्मा का यानी हमारा अगला जन्म निर्धारित किया जाता है। 

4. कर्ज़- यदि मनुष्य ने आपने जीवन मे कभी भी किसी प्रकार का ऋण लिया हो तो उस ऋण को यथासम्भव उतार देना चाहिए ताकि मरणोपरांत इस लोक से उस ऋण को उसलोक में अपने साथ न ले जाना पड़े। 

5. पूण्य- हमारे द्वारा किये गए दान-दक्षिणा व परमार्थ के कार्य ही हमारे पुण्यों की पूंजी होती है इसलिए हमें समय-समय पर अपने सामर्थ्य अनुसार दान-दक्षिणा एवं परमार्थ और परोपकार आवश्य ही करने चाहिए। 

इन्ही पांचों वस्तुओं से ही मनुष्य को इस मृत्युलोक को छोड़ कर परलोक जाने पर ।उस लोक अथवा अगले जन्म की प्रक्रिया का चयन किया जाता है।

1. Desire- If at the time of death, any attachment towards a particular thing remains in our mind, some desire remains unfulfilled, some unfulfilled desire remains, then even after death the same desire goes with that soul.

2. Lust - Lust is the companion of desire. The meaning of lust is not only from physical enjoyment but from every pleasure enjoyed in this world which makes that soul happy. Then be it house, money, car, status, or bravery. Even after death, these unfulfilled desires go with man and become a hindrance in attaining salvation.

3. Karma- After death, the deeds done by us whether it is good deeds or bad deeds go with us. After death, the soul also takes with it the capital of the deeds done by it. According to which the next birth of that soul means our next birth is determined by the book.

4. Debt- If a person has ever taken any kind of loan in his life, then that loan should be repaid as much as possible so that after death he does not have to take that loan with him from this world to that world.

5. Punya- The charity-dakshina and charity work done by us is the capital of our virtues, so we must do charity-dakshina and charity and charity according to our ability from time to time.

It is from these five things that a man leaves this mortal world and goes to the next world. That world or the process of the next birth is selected.
